How To Have A Healthy Life Style in 2 simple steps.


To put it simply, there are two main things one can do to have a healthy lifestyle; eat well and exercise. If you only eat well, and do not exercise, sure you can be healthy, but not as healthy as you could be if you exercised as well. Same goes for the other way around. A combination of exercising and eating well will keep one the healthiest you can possibly be.

Firstly, as mentioned before, exercising is very important when attempting to have a healthy life style. You do not have to do three hours of exercise a day to be healthy. With many people’s life styles, it is hard to get that much exercise in. All you need is twenty minutes to an hour of exercise a day. If you miss out one day, make up for it the next day. Exercising regularly will do many things for you which include:

*Lessen your risk of diseases (particularly heart diseases, diabetes as well)

*Improve body (muscles, bones, and such)

*Flexibility, even with age

*You will feel better mentally (less chance of depression and anxiety)

*Self esteem will drastically improve

*Relieving stress

For many people, weight is a problem, and evidently, weight does not make for a healthy life style. On top of the benefits of exercising shown above, you can lose weight drastically. Exercising will help you reduce your blood pressure, and many studies have proven this. So, how can you exercise? Look for ways to walk instead of driving. Go for a daily jog if you have time. Be sure to keep track of your exercise (no matter what it is). Studies have also found that when recording your activities, you become a lot more motivated. Time to get up off the couch from watching TV and get exercising!

Even with all the exercise in the world, you must eat well in order to have a healthy life style. Aside from making you much healthier, a good diet (or good eating habits) can drastically lessen your weight. First of all, you can begin by having more fruit. Have fruit whenever you can, be it in your salad, or even your cereal. Also, have as many vegetables as you can, as they are just as good as fruits. On another note, one thing that many people do that is extremely unhealthy is have salad dressing, particularly full fat dressing. Do not get me wrong. Some salad dressing is fine, but most are very unhealthy. It is important to pick up a healthy one from the grocery store. Lastly, stay away from junk food as often as possible. No matter how tempting it is, refrain from having them. In the end, staying away from junk food will greatly benefit you, mentally and physically.

As you can see, having a healthy life style takes dedication and a consistency, though it can be done! You need to stick at it and not give up, and you will find yourself to be healthier than ever before.
